1999. Designing of the FS1700.
Since 1995, Helion™ specialist workshop delivers audiophile-grade power conditioning solutions. Our customizable power line conditioners are designed to be used even in the most demanding high end audio and video systems.
Engineered, designed and manufactured in Europe, our products are used also in recording and monitoring studios, power plants, by sound engineers, technical universities, scientific research labs, the military and the medical industry.
From its inception until today, the Helion brand is in the hands of the same family and the company is still managed by the same people.
Our R&D facility, equipped with sophisticated Brüel&Kjær, Tektronix and Rohde&Schwarz test and measurement gear, plus independent battery AC generator and a balanced power line, is located eight meters below the ground level to protect the vulnerable experimental circuits from the electromagnetic, human-generated smog as well as the cosmic radiation.
We acquire our parts and components locally to avoid the delays and risks of shipping from the Far East, which is a growing problem lately for many companies. It also allows us to keep the highest standards of manufacturing and quality control - a traditional hallmark of European handcrafting.
Our products are protected by a Three Year International Warranty against defects in parts or labor. But this is not the actual limit of the product life! Our equipment usually works for twenty or more years without a single failure; we also provide an extensive upgrade and tuning program.

The first power conditioner
In 1992, after a few years of research, we have built our first mains conditioner. All the four units were acquired by our friends - audiophiles.

Helion FS1200 & FS1500
Those were the first commercially available designs bearing the Helion logo. Many of them - equipped with a luxury, wooden front panel and a gold-plated finish - are still in everyday use today.

Helion FS1700
A new era begun for us, when the innovatory FS1700 was introduced. Featuring all sockets in a top-loading configuration it simplified the quick change of power cables and can be conveniently placed behind the rack. It was very popular.

Helion 1750XP
Our all-time bestseller, later modified to incorporate the latest achievemments in the mains conditioning technology. Helion 1750XP based on the successful FS1700, but was featuring an increased power output and better internal components.

EC5600 and EC5700 - Power Conditioning Cords
The idea behind these cables - Power Conditioning Cords - was to incorporate the noise and spike suppression discrete elements into the plugs' interior. Another outstanding feature was the unique build technique - the plugs were soldered to the wires ensuring minimum losses and stable contact resistance for uncompromised longevity unattainable in conventional screw- or crimp-type connections.

Helion ReVolt series
The ReVolt power conditioner series is an emanation of our knowledge and experience acquired by the earlier 25 years. There are many solutions premiered in these series, like hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker (HMCB) switch or IGS (Isolated Ground System). MF-Signature versions offer even more exclusive options, like all-soldered connections or pure silver (99,99% Ag) electrostatic shield.
ReVolt conditioners, upgraded in 2022 to include the AIR CORE technology, are expected to be used by experienced enthusiasts and professionals to serve the top-sounding audio gear only. -
SC4800 and SC6600 - the Next Generation Power Cords
The new series of power cords are developed to match the quality and capabilities of our best power conditioners. They can serve in any music system regardless of the required amperage capacity and are immune to the environmental electromagnetic noise. The thick, purest copper wires, rhodium- or gold-plated contacts and a braided copper shielding make them an ideal companion for every audio component expected to provide faithful music reproduction.
